Norway has countless fjords, all with breathtaking beauty. But the most picturesque and famous ones are located on the west coast. This one-of-a-kind tour will take you to the most iconic locations of Fjord Norway. Keywords are deep fjords, tall majestic mountains and countless impressive waterfalls plunging down the mountain sides.
Ever wanted to visit the world famous Fjords of Norway? Here is your chance to experience the incredible beauty of this incredible area. We will visit all the iconic locations from the fierce Låtefoss in Odda to the majestic Troll Wall in Romsdalen. This is an adventure that you will never forget!
Meetup at Bergen Airport (BGO) where we go through the plan for the coming day before we get settled in our vans and start driving towards our first hotel, in the stunning village of Odda. Here we will photograph 2 of the most impressive waterfalls in Norway; Låtefoss and Langfoss. In addition we will stop at every chance to photograph the majestic scenery around us.
We move north to Eidsfjord. This incredible place is surrounded by high mountains. We will drive up the valley, making stops to photograph the surroundings. Our main target today is the photogenic and impressive Vøringsfossen waterfall. Its 2 sided shape is perfect for making unforgettable photos.
We continue our drive north as we settle in Olden. Our main location today is Briksdals Glacier. We will make the short hike up to the glacier lake. There are numerous impressive waterfalls in the area. Olden lake is also a very picturesque location. This is a day full of highlights
Get ready to witness the beauty of Geiranger. This world famous fjord village is surely a sight to behold. We will stay in a great hotel right in the middle of town. Here we will shoot the stunning viewpoint Flydalsjuvet and Dalsnibba, a fantastic viewpoint more than 1500m above sealevel.
We continue exploring Geiranger. Today we will experience what might be the highlight of the week. A fjord cruise through the entire Geiranger fjord. From the boat we will photograph the famous waterfalls “The 7 Sisters” and “The Suitor”. Towards the end of the cruise we will go a shore and hike up to the incredible view at Skageflå. An old farm located high above the fjord. This location is simply incredible. Its a short, but really steep hike that will take your breath away in multiple ways.
Later this day we will shoot sunset at Ørnesvingen viewpoint. This gives us a great view of Geiranger.
We leave Geiranger in the morning and head north towards our next base in Åndalsnes. We make a stop at Gudbrandsjuvet. A narrow canyon with a river and waterfalls. Then we go to the world famous Trollstigen. A narrow winding road that zig zags its way up the mountain. Numerous photo opportunities awaits!
Time to shoot some mountains! We will explore the valley of Vengedalen and hike up to Litlefjellet, giving us an incredible view over Romsdalen, Åndalsnes and the mighty Troll Wall.
We leave our hotel early in the morning to make our way to Molde Airport (MOL) where we say goodbye and give eachother hugs.
