Description

The Bretagne Coast

Welcome to the magnificent coast of Bretagne, France. We will spend close to a week exploring this incredible coastline where the Atlantic Ocean meets land. Every late fall there are massive storms crashing in over the Bretagne coastline. The large number of lighthouses indicates a history of rough seas and shipwrecks. Massive cliffs are constantly taking a beating from the giant waves. This will be our playground for this trip. Our target is to capture dramatic seascapes along the shores. Our locations are far too many to list, but we will explore the entire coast from Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy, all the way to Nantes in Bay of Biscay. Lighthouses, dramatic cliffs, incredible rocky shorelines, tranquil beaches and so much more lies along these shores. We will also explore a few forests and charming old villages along our way.

This trip is a dream for the action seeking photographer with a love for the ocean. Long exposures can create fine-art eternal imagery while the shorter exposures will capture the drama and power of the wild seas. Our French guide knows this area extremely well and we will make sure to be on the right spot at the time. Expect sunrises, sunsets and even amazing night photography sessions.

This area of France is also a fantastic area to just enjoy a nice meal and a glass of wine. The villages are full of history and charm and the quiet atmosphere in these towns are perfect for disconnecting from the hectic day to day struggles.
